Trip to Chicago

On June 26, me and my dad originally went to Rockford, Illinois For a recruiting trip, but then we went down to Chicago for about a day. On the way to Chicago we got to go and see some old friends, we went out to dinner, and then I got to see a Firefly! I had never seen one before! but when it got late we started heading for Chicago! My favorite part of going there was probably the Navy Pier. It was really neat to be able to look out and see Lake Michigan. We also went on a double decor bus tour and learned a lot about Chicago and its history. I got to see the Sears tower. It was REALLY tall. I think our tour guide said it was about 120 stories high! Now that's what I call tall! The John Hancock Building
I also got to see the John Hancock building. That was REALLY tall too! The tour guide said that it was 100 stories tall. So still the Sears tower was much taller. We got to see where Oprah did her show and we also saw where she lived. When we went to the Museum of Natural History, we got to see the most completed Dinosaur, the people named her Sue after the man/woman who found her. But they don't know if Sue is a boy or a girl, they just call her Sue. I also learned how to rap a mummy! It was pretty cool! If you ever saw the movie Night at the Museum, that movie was based on that museum! Unfortunately we missed the Cub's game, but I'm not that much of a Baseball fan. I loved going to Chicago and I hope I'll be able to go again!
